Tom Dean Swim School offers swimming lessons at Newlands Leisure Centre, helping children develop their swimming ability, water confidence and essential water safety skills.
From those taking their first steps in the water to swimmers progressing through the stages, lessons are designed to help every child develop at their own pace.

Already attending lessons at Newlands?
A few things to remember before your lesson:
Children aged 3+ must wear a swimming hat.
Children under 3 must wear a swim nappy.
Parents/guardians must remain in the building during the lesson.
Children under 8 must use the changing room appropriate to the adult accompanying them.
Spectators are welcome on poolside but must wear appropriate footwear or blue shoe covers.
A padlock is required for the lockers.
Please do not leave belongings unattended.
Children should not be changed on poolside to protect their privacy.
Correct swimwear must be worn – board shorts or shorts below the knee are not permitted.
Badges and certificates can be purchased from Braywick Leisure Centre reception for £3.00 when your child progresses to the next stage.
